Livingston Skating Club
Based in Howell, Michigan, the Livingston Skate Club (formerly known as Grand Oaks Figure Skating Club) was founded over 30 years ago. We offer a supportive and welcoming environment and a variety of programs for skaters of all ages and levels.
Our skaters have represented our club, at a variety of competitions including the Michigan High School State Championship, Michigan Learn to Skate Competition Series, Eastern Great Lakes Regionals. We pride ourselves on being the perfect hometown club for both the competitive and recreational skater
Learn to Skate Program
We offer Learn to Skate USA classes for all levels and all ages. The Learn to Skate classes are taught by the Livingston Skate Club staff coaches who members of US Figure Skating and Learn to Skate USA. Our learn to skate classes are designed to teach both figure skaters and hockey players the fundamentals of skating while creating a fun atmosphere. We utilize the Learn to Skate USA Cirriculum which was created by USA Hockey and US Figure skating, to ensure all skaters are taught the proper fundamentals.
2023 Holiday Skate Show
As usual, this years Holiday Skate Show did NOT disappoint! The audience was made up of skate club members and families along with amazing community support!! Skate Club co-directors Kristen, and Elena, along with skate club coaches were amazed by the turn out and very excited to show off what their members have been working on! The Spring Skate Show is generally the season finale' and most impressive of the season. Looking forward to continued community support and watching these members grow!
